Music distribution for labels and record companies
Release your content and artists on the main platforms with your label's name in the release credits.
You build your catalog. Eventroo takes care of distribution and supports your operation.
How the label name is shown follows each platform's credit format.
Your label's name in the credits
On releases distributed through Eventroo, the label is entered in the metadata and can appear in the credits on the track's own page, such as the distribution and copyright lines.
To operate under the label's identity across distribution, see distribution under your own brand, with examples of where the name appears.

Moving your catalog to Eventroo
Full support to migrate all of your already distributed content. You can migrate the catalog as long as you hold the necessary rights and send metadata consistent with the version already published.
- Keep the same ISRC, audio, title, artist and duration for each track.
- Avoid changing metadata during the migration: it lowers the chance of automatic matching.
- As a rule, don't take it down from the old distributor first: coordinate the switch to avoid gaps in availability.
- During the transition, two versions may coexist for a while, or matching may take time.
Keeping metrics depends on the platforms recognizing the tracks; Eventroo cannot guarantee it.

Frequently asked questions about distribution for labels
Can I register my label or record company?
Yes. Eventroo may request corporate, tax and banking documents and proof of authority to represent the company or of catalog ownership.
Does the label name appear on every platform?
How the label name is shown follows each platform's credit format: the fields, position and presentation change from one platform to another.
Does Eventroo take the rights to the label's catalog?
Not by virtue of distribution. Ownership of the sound recording and composition remains with the rights holders, unless a specific contract provides otherwise.
Will I lose plays when migrating the catalog?
Eventroo cannot guarantee that metrics are kept, because matching is done by the platforms. Keeping ISRC, audio, title, artist and duration improves the chance of a match.
Should I take the catalog down from the old distributor first?
As a rule, no. Good practice is to coordinate the migration to reduce the risk of gaps in availability; the procedure may vary by catalog and platform.
Which documents should a label keep?
Contracts, assignments, licenses, image and voice permissions, splits, sample clearances, producer agreements and other evidence related to the content.
