A person can be an artist and a songwriter at the same time. In that case, each service follows its own revenue category. The shares are not added together on the same amount.
Public performance: when your work is heard by the public
We administer the collection of public performance royalties for the represented works, in Brazil and abroad, through the collective management channels and partners applicable to the agreement.
In Brazil, public performance collection is carried out by Ecad, and distribution to rights holders goes through the collective management societies. Eventroo acts in the publishing administration of the represented works, respecting this flow. Abroad, the mechanisms and entities of each territory apply.
Uses may take place in:
- AM, FM and digital radio stations.
- Free-to-air, pay TV and other licensed broadcasts.
- Concerts, festivals, live performances and events.
- Bars, restaurants, nightclubs and music venues.
- Hotels, shops, supermarkets, shopping centers and other businesses.
- Gyms and other spaces with collective attendance.
- Cinemas and audiovisual screenings, regarding the music's public performance right.
- Audio and video streaming platforms.
- Web radios, websites, apps and internet broadcasts that constitute public performance.
- Other public uses of the work covered by law, licensing and the contracted representation.
The list shows the main categories of use, without limiting other uses covered by the representation. Collection depends on the work being identified, on the uses reported and on the rules of each entity and territory.
Mechanical rights: the reproduction of your composition
These are the author's rights related to the reproduction of the musical work, such as in licensed streams and downloads and in physical formats, according to the type of use and the rules of each territory.
Despite the name “mechanical”, this is about the composition. It is not master or sound recording revenue.
Synchronization in films, advertising, series, games or other content involves its own licensing. The terms of that service must be checked separately; they are not assumed to follow the percentages below.

Do I need to pay a monthly fee?
No. Eventroo works with a revenue share on the services shown on this page. There is no monthly fee for the included standard services.
What if my music doesn't generate revenue?
With no revenue in the administered category, Eventroo's share is zero. A priced optional service you have hired, such as Premium Pitching or Hiper Pitching Curadoria, follows the price and terms accepted when you hired it.
Are there extra fees?
We don't charge extra fees for included services. Only expressly priced optional services have their own price, shown before you hire them. Legal withholdings and revenue base conditions are itemized according to the contract.
Are the paid pitching plans included?
No. Premium Pitching and Hiper Pitching Curadoria are priced optional services, with price and scope shown separately. Free pitch submission remains available. Hiring them does not guarantee playlist placement, play counts or revenue.
Can any label get the 20% share?
This condition is intended for high-volume record labels. Our team reviews the catalog and release frequency to confirm eligibility.
Can I hire distribution without Publishing?
Yes. They are separate services, each with its own sign-up and scope. Distributing a recording does not automatically include administering the composition.
Are Publishing percentages charged on my distributor streams?
No. They apply to the composition's author's rights administered by Publishing. Revenue from the distributed sound recording follows the distribution percentages.
I have co-writers. Does the share apply to the whole work?
Not automatically. The calculation considers the share and the rights actually entrusted to Eventroo, under the contract.
Does global management mean immediate payment from every country?
No. Collections follow the rules, representation agreements and calendars of each entity and territory. Administration does not guarantee that every use generates identified and distributed revenue.
Can I check my results?
Yes. Auditable reports and statement information are available in the dashboard, according to each service's reporting and processing cycles.
